What is Biohacking?

Biohacking may be defined as the application of science, technologies, and innovative practices to optimizing health, vitality, resilience, fitness, performance, and longevity. While the origins of biohacking can be traced back to 1980s, Dave Asprey is often referred to as the Father of Biohacking due to his significant contributions to the field. Over the past several years, biohacking has been gaining in popularity, and 2025 is shaping up to become a pivotal point in time with the movement progressing from niche to mainstream.
